About Me

Hi, I’m Naomi 👋

I’m a Dublin-based well-being coach with a passion for helping people improve the basis of their well-being and living a burnout free life through yoga and Ayurveda.

I’m a certified yoga teacher with 300 hr advanced training in Yoga therapy and Ayurveda. I’m also a Master Certified Life Coach from the Certified Life Coach Institute.

My Story

Originally from Bangalore, India, I was a perfectionist, an overachiever, a type-A jet-setter. I was also overwhelmed, exhausted, emotionally drained, anxious, stressed and depressed.
Having grown up in India, I was lucky to have practised yoga very early on, as part of my school curriculum. However, as I grew up and got lost in the daily grind, my routine slipped away.

Working in the financial services industry, across three countries, two continents, all in one big multinational investment bank for a decade, I was constantly swinging between a very active and unhealthy lifestyle on weekends, and a relieving-ly sedentary, but unhealthy lifestyle during the week. The sedentary work and long hours had a significant negative impact on my body.

My personal well-being was not even a side hustle, it was a distant thought.
Unsurprisingly, I was burning out, AND ignoring it.

I burned out long before I realised and accepted it.

NAOMI SHEEDY

I kept pushing, kept going, until my body physically couldn’t continue any longer, until it literally shut down.
I was suffering from debilitating migraines regularly, I was frequently getting ill because my immune system was compromised, I had IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), I was drained, fatigued and covered in stress hives all over my body.

What Happened Next

After a breakdown, and much needed reflection and medical intervention, I approached my own personal well-being as a project – a planned piece of work designed to educate me more, produce health benefits and improve my overall haal-chaal i.e. well-being.

And I learned some basic, yet vital, lessons:

Well-being is not the absence of illness or diseases
Well-being is not the same for everyone
Well-being is easily accessible
Well-being is maintained with consistency

My Story Now

Yoga and Ayurveda gave me the tools I needed to not only find my balance again, but also gain strength and thrive in my everyday life.
I saw differences in my stress and anxiety levels like never before. I was eating better, sleeping better and living better.
Those days of wishing to be in ‘a future happy place’ were gone.

Can You Relate?

Are you hoping to be in that place of happiness right now? Do you want your everyday to look same-same, but different, and better?
The mindfulness that yoga teaches can help you shift your outlook on life.

How I Can Help

I can help redefine the basis of your haal-chaal; take control of your well-being.
